Safety at SLCC<br />
• SLCC strives to provide safe and secure facilities and environments for all students,<br />
faculty and staff in support of its mission. Resources used to assist in maintaining a<br />
safe environment are: City and Parish law enforcement and Emergency Response<br />
Agencies, contract Security Services, cameras and alarm systems.<br />
• Please refer to the following links for building Emergency Evacuation Routes,<br />
Emergency Plans, Safety Manuals, contacts and e-mail addresses:<br />
www.southlouisiana.edu/facilities.<br />
• All SLCC Facilities and Campuses are NO SMOKING inside and within 25’ of any<br />
building exterior wall.<br />
• Litter should be appropriately placed in provided exterior or interior trash cans.<br />
Cigarette litter should be placed in an applicable smoking urn or exterior ash trays on<br />
the top of trash cans. PLEASE KEEP THE CAMPUSES CLEAR OF LITTER.<br />
