Pillar Point System The Pillar Point program was rolled out in Spring 2010 to recognize active members in UW- Whitewater’s WHIL chapter. There is a set of point values for participating in different activities ranging from bringing an ―Ice-Breaker‖ to a member meeting or participating in a WHIL committee. There are different point levels members can reach with accumulative prizes at different levels. The program went over so well that the program has continued into this year and is very popular among the members. The program takes time and effort on the part of the Executive Board. The Financial and Administrative director keeps track of all of the member’s point totals for all events and activities they participate in and informs members of their levels periodically throughout the year. The board as a whole comes up with ideas for awards, taking into consideration what the members would be interested in, while still keeping the budget in mind. Prizes are presented at the end of year Induction Banquet, recognizing each member individually for the effort they put into WHIL that year. Budget Presented above are two budgets; the budget on the left shows the year-end from last Spring of 2010. The budget on the right shows our current budget to date. We felt the need to show both in order to show transactions from WURHA 2010 through WURHA 2011. Our WHIL Chapter is dedicated to allocating money to various campus activities, events and organizations. 11
