L. Giosan et al. - Longshore Sediment Transport Pattem along Romanian Danube Delta Coast once per decade. A potentially promising method for estimating send transport to be used in the model calibration would be the monitoring of the shoaling upstream Midia jetties, a site which is far enough from Danube distributaries mouths not to be dependent on their sediment discharge.
