14th International Congress on Parkinson’s Disease and<br />

Movement Disorders: Update on Dystonia Webcast<br />

This webcast, captured during the 14th International<br />

Congress, June 14, 2010, covers the spectrum of dystonias,<br />

providing insight into their diagnosis and treatment. The<br />

course begins with the classification into primary and<br />

secondary dystonias, followed by further examination into<br />

genetic, heredodegenerative and paroxysmal dystonias. This<br />

program has a special emphasis on the various phenotypes of<br />

genetic forms of dystonia, including the recently discovered<br />

forms associated with DYT6. Secondary dystonia is described<br />

with detailed clinical syndromic associations.<br />
