Claiming CME Credit<br />

To claim CME credit for your participation in the MDS <strong>15th</strong><br />

International Congress of Parkinson’s Disease and Movement<br />

Disorders, International Congress participants must complete<br />

and submit an online CME Request Form. This form will be<br />

available beginning June 7, 2011.<br />

Instructions for claiming credit:<br />

• After June 7, visit<br />

www.movementdisorders.org/congress/congress11/cme<br />

• Log in after reading the instructions on the page.<br />

You will need your International Congress File Number<br />

which is located on your name badge or e-mail<br />

congress@movementdisorders.org.<br />

• Follow the on-screen instructions to claim CME Credit for<br />

the sessions you attended.<br />

• You may print your certificate from your home or office, or<br />

save it as a PDF for your records.<br />

Credit Designation<br />

The Movement Disorder Society is “accredited with<br />

commendation” by the Accreditation Council for Continuing<br />

Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing<br />

medical education for physicians. The Movement Disorder<br />

Society designates this educational activity for a maximum<br />

of 35.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits. Physicians should<br />

only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their<br />

participation in the activity.<br />

Continuing Professional Development (CPD) events<br />

developed by accredited CPD physician organizations<br />

recognized by the ACCME are deemed to be Accredited<br />

Group Learning Activities (Section 1) as defined by the<br />

Maintenance of Certification Program of The Royal College of<br />

Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.<br />

The Movement Disorder Society has sought accreditation from<br />

the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical<br />

Education (EACCME) to provide CME credits for medical<br />

specialists. The EACCME is an institution of the European<br />

Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS). For more information,<br />
