310-4W Series
Standard Features:
Non Fail Safe - Unlocks when energized.
Solenoid Actuated - May be energized continuously.
(AC - voltage units are adjustable, to operate either quietly,
on continuous duty or audibly, on intermittent duty).
Keeper - PK standard.
Reversible - Non Handed
Horizontal Adjustment - To compensate for misalignment.
Optional Features:
Finishes - US3, US4, US10, US10B, US26, US26D,
US32 or US32D.
Indication Switches - Internal switch(es) to monitor the
positions of the latchbolt and/or locking cam.
Specify switch options by letters:
LBM - A switch to monitor the latchbolt. It indicates
whether or not the latchbolt is extended into the strike.
LCM - A switch to monitor the locking cam. It indicates
that the strike is either locked or unlocked.
LCBM - A switch to monitor both the latchbolt and the
locking cam. It indicates that the latchbolt is extended
into the strike, and that the strike is locked.
LCBMA - This is the same as LCBM, with an additional
switch activated by the latchbolt, for auxiliary purposes.
AC Voltages - 12 or 120 VAC/60 HZ, which may produce
a slight “buzzing” sound.
AC-SO Voltage - 12, 24, 48, or 120 VAC-SO, which are
for silent operation, without the “buzzing” sound. They
use a DC solenoid with an externally attached, full-wave
bridge rectifier.
DC Voltages - 6, 12, 24, 48 or 120 VDC.
Fail Safe Operation - Locks when energized, unlocks
when de-energized for applications requiring automatic
unlocking in case of power failure. Specify “FS”.

Milled Face - (MF) 1/2" or 9/16" Milled face is available
instead of standard 3/4" face thickness. This is for
applications where mounting space is limited.
Milled Ramps - (MR) Milled ramps are for use with rim
exit devices that feature a auxiliary deadlocking finger
that must ride up a ramp to the surface of the faceplate.
