195 7 Piece Conquistador Mexico Sterling Tea
Set:
278.25 troy ounces. The set comprised of a hot water
pot with under burner, tea pot, carafe, lidded sugar bowl,
creamer, waste bowl, and large twin handled oval tray.
The lidded pieces decorated with applied flowerbud
finials, reminiscent of Georg Jensen. All pieces are
marked “Conquistador Sterling Mexico” with hallmarks
of a coat of arms with horseman, an eagle with a wreath
and the number “13”.

Planters:
19th century. A pair of planters in the form of reticulated
gilt bronze grape vine baskets supported by dark
patinated bronze winged caryatids. The caryatids are
joined at the hands by gilt bronze wreaths and mounted
on gilt bronze circular columns adorned with garland
swags and masks.

A hand painted blue pine cone motif egg with gilt accents, opening to a gold plated
sterling silver interior with rider on elephant. Stamped “Faberge” with hallmarks,
and signed on underside “Peint Main. AF. Limoges France Faberge Pine Cone
Egg 1900”. Raised on a gilt leaf form tripod base. Very good condition. With
accompanying custom gift box.
