A 19th century sixth pl<strong>at</strong>e Daguerreotype of a young man wearing a cap and<br />

smoking a cigar, holding the reins of a horse standing next to him. The tip of the<br />

cigar tinted red. Partial paper seal. Housed in a le<strong>at</strong>herette.<br />

m<strong>at</strong> signed “M.A. & S. Root 363 Broadway N.Y.”. Original paper seal. Housed in a<br />

standing next to a rocking horse, and a ninth pl<strong>at</strong>e tintype of a girl holding a doll.<br />
