Beyond the Lens,
Behind the Façade

and Technology- Tampa student, Jesse Adair,
presents us with an image of such astounding
beauty and grace that the world wouldn’t know
beneath all of its light could hide a darker side.
People as a whole tend to present themselves with a face of the
most amiable nature, but as we all know there are layers much
deeper than the surface may appear. Jesse explores two extremes
in photography from the radiant and glowing to the sinister
and gruesome. He is one person, but there are two artistic souls
residing within. The tale of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde is the epitome
of the internal battle between good and evil. It is an attempted
fight to oust discovered wickedness amid the angelic. Jesse Adair,
rather, chooses to embrace these conflicting parallels in his work,
creating both the beautiful and the beast.
