Keralloy ® BioStar<br />

A novel precious metal free, chromium cobalt-based alloy for the<br />

dental application used in dental milling machines. It does not<br />

contain any nickel, beryllium or gallium. Keralloy ® BioStar is produced<br />

in a powder metallurgical sintering production process and<br />

owns a much more homogenous quality instead of conventional<br />

casted alloys. Thru the special production process Keralloy ® Bio-<br />

Star is much easier and faster to mill, the durability of the milling<br />

tools increase up to 50 %. Keralloy ® BioStar has a high corrosion<br />

resistance and biocompatibility and is suitable for soldering.<br />

CoCr BioStar<br />

BioStar is a precious metal free, chromium cobalt-based alloy<br />

for the dental application used in dental milling machines (CAD-<br />

CAM). It does not contain any nickel, beryllium or gallium. One of<br />

the remarkable features is the high corrosion resistance and biocompatibility.<br />

CoCr BioStar is suitable for soldering. Its low hardness<br />

allows CoCr BioStar to be easily milled.<br />

TITAN BioStar °2<br />

A precious metal free, titanium-based alloy for the dental application<br />

used in dental milling machines. TITAN BioStar °2 is biocompatible<br />

and usable for the crown and bridge technique, telescopic<br />

and double crowns and attachments.<br />

Next to the indication as for TITAN BioStar °2, TITAN BioStar °4<br />

is especially recommended for implant bars and the production<br />

of abutments in combination with implants which are mainly<br />

manufactured in grade 4 titanium alloys as well.<br />
