THE 9TH ANNUAL GOLF CLASSIC SOUVENIR BOOK<br />
The 9th Annual Golf Classic was held on June 11, <strong>2001</strong> at Elm Ridge Golf & Country Club.<br />
As our major fundraising event, The <strong>Auxiliary</strong> once again joined the JGH Foundation in<br />
publishing a Souvenir Book.<br />
This year’s Golf Classic proceeds of over $700,000 will be<br />
used to defray the cost of the Picture Archiving and<br />
Communication System (PACS) which has revolutionized<br />
the practice of Radiology. Instead of images being kept<br />
on film, they can be stored digitally and displayed on<br />
computer monitors. These images are then readily<br />
accessible to any requesting physician in a timely<br />
fashion, leading to more rapid diagnosis and treatment.<br />
Our 10th Golf Classic will take place on June 10, 2002<br />
at Hillsdale Golf and Country Club.<br />
