In der seltenen Besetzung von Klavier und Schlagzeug spielt der aus Nenzing in Vorarlberg stammende Pianist Christof Moser mit
Schlagzeugern wie Chester Thompson (ehemals bei Weather Report, Genesis und Phil Collins), Mario Lackner, Alex Dostal und
Bernard Galane von Jazz, Rock, Jungle und Improvisation geprägte Bearbeitungen ausgewählter Präludien und Ouvertüren alter
Meister aus über drei Jahrhunderten und eigene Kompositionen. Voller Temperament und Spielwitz, aber auch mit ruhigen
Momenten, sodaß dem Pianisten Norman Shetler das Wort „Genial!“ entfuhr und die Definition „Ein Duell Klavier gegen
Schlagzeug“ auftauchte.
In the unusual instrumentation of piano and percussion the pianist Christof Moser from Nenzing in Vorarlberg, together with percussionists
such as Chester Thompson (ex Weather Report, Genesis and Phil Collins), Mario Lackner, Alex Dostal and Bernard
Galane, plays arrangements of selected preludes and overtures by Old Masters over three centuries, characterized by jazz, jungle
and improvisation, as well as his own compositions. The performance is full of temperament and brilliance so that the word
‘ingenious’ escaped the pianist Norman Shetler and the expression ‘a duel between the piano and percussion’ emerged.
