Table top Cribbage<br />
�� Players and <strong>Card</strong>s<br />
o One deck of cards, not including jokers<br />
o 2 or 4 people can play, with four players opposites are partners<br />
o For four players deal six cards to each player<br />
o For two players deal 12 cards to each player<br />
�� Object of the <strong>Game</strong><br />
o Based on cribbage scoring. <strong>Card</strong>s are played to a 5 by 5 layout. One player or team tries to<br />
form rows which score as highly as possible as cribbage hands. <strong>The</strong> other does the same with<br />
the columns.<br />
�� <strong>Game</strong> Play<br />
o <strong>Card</strong>s are placed face down in a stack and are not looked at before each turn.<br />
o <strong>The</strong> top card of the deck is placed face up in the centre of the table with a coin on it to locate<br />
centre.<br />
o At your turn place your top card face up on the table. This card must be played on an empty<br />
space and must touch at least one card already on the table. It can touch any way including<br />
diagonally.<br />
o In partner play the partners may confer on where to play the card.<br />
o Nibs is not taken by either team<br />
�� <strong>The</strong> game is played to 121 or more points (a crib board is usually used to keep score). <strong>The</strong> player with<br />
the most points at the end is the winner of the game.<br />
�� <strong>The</strong> five hands are scored simultaneously (not one after the other).<br />
