Science Department at the Massachusetts Institute of<br />

Prof. Marie Muller is Chair of the <strong>Pugwash</strong> Council, <strong>and</strong><br />

Dean of the Faculty of Humanities <strong>and</strong> Director of the<br />

Centre for International Political Studies at the University<br />

of Pretoria. She is also a Council Member of the Academy<br />

of Science of South Africa, <strong>and</strong> Chair of the <strong>Pugwash</strong><br />

Dr. Götz Neuneck is a physicist working on international<br />

security issues. He is currently Senior Fellow at the Institute<br />

for Peace Research <strong>and</strong> Security Policy (IFSH) in<br />

Hamburg; Member of the Council of the German Physical<br />

Society (DPG), <strong>and</strong> Deputy Chairman of the Working<br />

Group “Physics <strong>and</strong> Disarmament” in the DPG.
