Registering for a KIDSABILITY Program?<br />
Visit our website; www.kidsability.ca.<br />
Click on the “Activities and Events” calendar at the lower right of your screen. Find the program you<br />
wish to register for and follow the instructions! Call the hotline if questions, 519-780-0186 ext 300.<br />
Who Can Register?<br />
Children (ages birth—18) with physical and/or developmental disabilities, including Autism Spectrum<br />
Disorders, who reside within Guelph / Wellington County.<br />
Why is there a Registration Deadline?<br />
We need to effectively prepare our staff and recruit volunteers for our programs. Planning for the<br />
programs we create takes time; rooms need to be booked, supplies ordered so if there are not<br />
enough participants, we unfortunately cancel the program.<br />
Can <strong>KidsAbility</strong> Staff / Volunteers Administer Medications To Children Attending a Group<br />
or Camp Program?<br />
<strong>KidsAbility</strong> is not permitted to administer medications.<br />
Is There Before and After Camp Care?<br />
<strong>KidsAbility</strong> does not have the funding, the training or the mandate to provide before and after camp<br />
care.<br />
Will <strong>KidsAbility</strong> Provide Children With Personal Support Workers or Support<br />
Counsellors?<br />
A child’s worker is welcome, and may be required to attend for personal care or safety reasons.<br />
Unfortunately <strong>KidsAbility</strong> does not have the funding, the training or the mandate to provide personal<br />
support workers.<br />
How Do I Pay For The Program?<br />
Fees are due upon registration. Mail or drop off payment (address on back page).<br />
September to June Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am—4:30pm; Tuesday’s 8:30am—7:30pm;<br />
Saturday’s 9:00am-noon<br />
July and August Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am—3:30pm<br />
We are unable to accept debit or credit cards at this time.<br />
Please make cheque payable to <strong>KidsAbility</strong>.<br />
Is Financial Assistance Available?<br />
Yes, financial assistance is available. Please call 519-780-0186 ext. 0 for more information.
