Time for a Rhyme (birth up to 3 years)<br />
This program is a group experience for parents and young children. It focuses on the pleasure and power of using rhymes, songs<br />
and stories together. The simple structure of the program will provide an easy-going, non-threatening, inclusive and fun<br />
environment. Communication, movement and attachment goals are emphasized. Parents will have the opportunity before and after<br />
the program to socialize with other parents and seek support and resources.<br />
Date: Saturday’s starting September 10 to October 29, 2011(7 weeks; session cancelled Oct 8)<br />
Time: 10:00—11:00 am<br />

<strong>KidsAbility</strong> Choir (8 - 18 years)<br />
Find your voice and experience community through song! A choir director will lead participants to make music through song, rhythm<br />
and simple instruments. No experience necessary! Performances to be arranged.<br />
Date: Saturday’s, Sept. 17 – Dec 10 (no session Oct. 8 Thanksgiving weekend)<br />
Time: 9:30 – 10:30 am<br />

Keeping In Touch (birth to 5 years)<br />
This is a service to support parents of children ages birth to 5, while they wait for their children to begin therapy. This is an<br />
opportunity to have questions answered and clarified by an Occupational Therapist and/or Physiotherapist. These services will be<br />
offered 4 times a year: winter, spring, summer and fall. You can attend a 1 hour session to discuss your child’s progress or ask any<br />
questions you may have about therapy suggestions with a therapist. You should bring your child. Therapists will make suggestions<br />
for the next steps in areas such as play, feeding, motor skills, and equipment needs.<br />
Date: Tuesday September 13th<br />
Times: 9:00 am—12:00 pm, 1:00 pm—3:00 pm<br />

Get Active (Ages: High School Students) A partnership program with Wellington Catholic District School Board.<br />
Get Active encourages high school students with developmental disabilities to enhance their physical fitness and participation in<br />
recreation. This fall, students from Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic High School and Bishop MacDonell Catholic High School will have<br />
the opportunity to learn about fitness, try some new fitness and recreation activities, and learn about how to pursue activities in the<br />
community.<br />
Dates: Six weeks in mid October to end November<br />
Time: 12:30 – 2:30<br />
