in 1972. It has been cogenerating<br />

process heat for a neighboring salt<br />

works since 1984.<br />

The <strong>Stade</strong> plant is two-thirds owned<br />

by E.ON Kernkraft GmbH. The remaining<br />

one-third stake is owned by Vattenfall<br />

Europe AG.
