In this issue of Seal Maker’s World, again,
we present some highlights and news from
our delivery program. In the previous issue
we have presented our new SML 700plus
CNC-Complete-System, and consequently
the fi rst new machine has been sold. This
sale is convincing proof that our decision to
integrate this new machine into our standard
re-collector – the easy-to-use chip container
Simply installed between CNC machine and suction unit,
the pre-collector effectively collects falling chips.

Everywhere, where seals are used, the use of guide tapes is
essential. Therefore, we have decided to integrate into our product
range guide tapes of PTFE/bronze compounds, polyester
and polyester/graphite compounds.
Seal Maker offers these guide tapes by meter length, which is a
favourable alternative to lathe-cut guide rings.

eal Maker is committed to providing outstanding follow-up
service to our CNC machine customers, especially on-site,
where possible.
As many of our customers are located in South East Asia, we have
been looking for an experienced partner in this region for quite a
while.
Due to the excellent longstanding relationship between our sales
manager Eng. Gernot Litsch and the brothers Robert and Sunny
Shu, our choice was to join with Tuffi Mechanical, a subsidiary of
the Tuffi Group which is owned by the Shu brothers.
Thus, in the middle of the year 2005 Seal Maker Produktions- und
Vertriebs GmbH became a majority shareholder in Tuffi Mechanical
Pte. This joint venture was named Seal Maker Tuffi Pte. Ltd. A
great deal of know-how and experience is guaranteed by this close
cooperation of Seal Maker and Tuffi Mechanical.
Together with the staff of Seal Maker Tuffi we have set up a warehouse
with a substantial stock of materials. Additionally, we have
installed a SML 700 CNC machine. Now we can offer excellent
service to both our machine customers and our material customers
in South East Asia.
Dealing with standard seals is also one of Seal Maker Tuffi ’s activities.
Seven well experienced staff members in this Singapore branch are
looking forward to assisting our customers with their knowledge, in
order to develop proper sealing solutions for any application.

Seal Maker Barbecue – and the show must go
Irene Aigner / Accounting
A short portrait: Born on 28th October 1962 in Mödling. Irene already had a lot of experience in accounting,
when she started with Seal Maker at the end of February 2005. She is responsible for Seal Maker’s
entire bookkeeping, balancing and personnel accounting. For a better quality of life and for her children’s
benefi t, she moved from the city of Vienna to rural Burgenland.
Hobbies: her family, house and garden with biotope, as well as six cats, a dog, three bunnies, and African
giant snails.

Elisabeth Moritz / Accounting
A short portrait: Born on 16th December 1980 in Eisenstadt. After graduating from the commercial
college, Elisabeth gathered her experience in accounting and balancing at a tax consultant’s offi ce.
Since September 2005 she has been working in Seal Maker’s accounting department and is responsible
for invoicing, banking and statistics of any kind.
Hobbies: shopping, preferably shoes, of which she has already more than 60 pairs, sneakers not
counted.

The Seal Makers – the Karaoke Band
he second time in a row Seal Maker’s
advertising agency C-More has been
awarded Burgenland’s marketing trophy
“ADEBAR” for the design of the poster series
which we presented in the previous
issue of Seal Maker’s World. C-More won
this award last year with the poster series
“A brighter future ahead”.
The trophy was handed over in the course of a
spectacular ceremony on September 21, 2006,
in the city of Oberwart in the state Burgenland.
“We are pleased that the committee honours
our advertisement work for Seal Maker, and we
are even more pleased about the positive reac-
tion of the target group, the Seal Maker customers”,
said Olivia Szimak, managing director of
the advertising agency C-More. The ceremony
ended in a nice evening, with contributions performed
by local Austrian singers like Willi Resetarits
and Wolfgang Ambros, who intonated
their songs in the style of the late sixties and
the seventies.
The audience, top people from economy and
advertisement, also expressed their being impressed
by the high international standard of
the awarded posters, and made this evening a
social event lasting till the early morning.
This year the month of August did not bring a lot of sunshine, but on August 26, the day of the Seal
Maker summer festival and barbecue, the guests could enjoy a perfect weather. But not only the
hot summer temperature heated up the Seal Maker employees and their family members, a well
organised Karaoke competition added quite some heat.
“To participate in a Karaoke competition does not require perfect intonation of the songs – of
importance is much more to dare be on stage”, said the Managing Director Johann Glocknitzer,
who himself opened the competition with singing a well known “Austrian pop” song. Later on the
department managers Gernot Litsch and Martin Suess went on stage, but fi nally the secretary
Marlene Rauner was the winner of the competition, with her outstanding voice which might make
her career at any pop star casting.
