BE THANKFUL AND
My Arbonne journey started almost exactly 12 months prior to promoting
to RVP. I started to use Arbonne products simply because I needed
some new skin care products. My sponsor, ERVP Barbara Eisenthal,
offered me a life-changing opportunity. Now the question was, what am
I going to do with it?
I did not think I had time for a new business. I was extremely busy with
a 20-month-old daughter and active, 4- and 6-year-old sons. My husband
had understandable concerns about how I was going to prioritize
my time. He did not want this business to take time away from our family,
and neither did I!
Only five years prior, my sister and I had run a family-owned Italian
restaurant that required most, if not all, of my time. My husband, David,
and I wanted to avoid all of the conflicts over time issues that had happened
over my work. However, Arbonne was knocking, so, I jumped into
the business with both feet. I started believing I could help people with
Arbonne’s incredible products, and potentially earn additional income.
Following my launch Presentation in January of 2005, I signed up four
business builders to my amazement. My immediate and ongoing challenge
has always been to learn how to find time to lead others, and how
to keep my family life first, given my limited time. I am grateful Arbonne
has helped me learn this as I continue to grow in this area.
My number one priority is to be able to stay home with my three children
and still be available to volunteer in their class, take them to karate
or baseball, to the park. I work part-time hours, but potentially I have a
full-time income. What a blessing it is to be there for my children
and family. And now I even have my own brand new, 2006 white
Mercedes-Benz to show for it!
Set your goals high and do not stop until you reach them. Write down
your affirmations and read them several times a day. Affirm your suc-
offer and must share it with everyone. Arbonne is a gift.
To my husband, David: Thank you for supporting and encouraging me,
even when it is stressful, and for rearranging your schedule as often as
you do to help take care of the children. You have always worked very
hard to provide us with a wonderful life. Now our family has a plan B.
I love that we are working together to build our future for ourselves and
for our children. We are now potentially providing for vacations,
a blessing and your support means everything to me.
To my precious children, Joseph, Daniel and Sophia: I see your beautiful,
smiling faces every day and it makes my heart melt. Thank you for
just being your wonderful selves. Your presence alone makes me strive to
succeed. Thanks to Arbonne’s Skin Conditioning Oil and cleansing gel,
straight years. We, as a family, will never stop using these products.
To my parents, Don and Rosemary Franco: Thank you both for loving
and supporting me. Dad, thank you for instilling in me that no one person
will ever make or break me. Your hard work and perseverance is
something that is invaluable to me as a leader. Mom, your unconditional
love and belief is what helped me know that I could do this and succeed.
I love you both so much. To my sister, Deanne: You are my best friend
and always encouraged me that I can make this happen. I love you.
To ERVP Barbara Eisenthal: Meeting you was no accident or coincidence.
I believe there is a reason, or lesson, to be learned with every
person we meet. You were a blessing from the moment I met you. You
are my visionary and saw my success way before I did. Belief is the
number one key ingredient to success and you believed in me. Barbara,
you are an incredible leader and have become my close friend. I am so
blessed and thankful to have you in my life.
To my team: Without you, none of this would have been possible!
To my first Area Manager and one of my best friends of 17 years, Dee
Dee Cole: You are one of the strongest women I know. I am so honored
and thrilled to share this experience with you. I love you and I cannot
wait to promote you to RVP.
To my first four District Managers — Nadine Rothermel, Gina Howarth,
Theresa Chiarelli and Jessica Villa-Lovos: You have been with me from
the start. You all were so patient and encouraging as Barbara, basically,
trained us all at once. I have grown to know you all as business partners,
but more so, I have loved you as my close friends. One of the best
days with Arbonne will be when I promote each one of you to RVP and
see you drive off in your Mercedes-Benz. I will never lose sight of the
fact that you have all been with me since the very beginning.
