7-3 In case of regional or group certification, are there requirements to inform and consult
all concerned forest owners before the certificate is issued? By whom is the decision to
apply for certification ultimately taken? (forest owner association, marketing cooperative,
etc.)?
7-4 Are there minimum requirements as regards to the share of forest area whose owners
are committed to certification before regional certification takes place?
8- Criteria VIII: Commitments from the forest owner/manager to improving
forest management
8-1 What are the incentives for the forest owners to improve their forest management
practices?

order to achieve SFM?
