The first <strong>of</strong> two recitals this semester featuring talented piano<br />

students from around the world, currently studying at the Royal<br />

College <strong>of</strong> Music in London.<br />

Ravel - L'oiseaux tristes from<br />

"Miroirs" suite<br />

Une barque sur l'ocean from<br />

Stravinsky - Agosti - "Firebird"<br />

First Prizewinner at the Scottish Piano<br />

Competition in Glasgow in 2010,<br />

Oxana, originally from Kazakhstan, is<br />

currently the Queen Elizabeth the<br />

Queen Mother Scholar at the RCM on<br />

the Master <strong>of</strong> Performance course<br />

studying with Dmitry Alexeev, whilst<br />

continuing her academic education<br />

in Moscow, where she is working<br />

towards her doctorate<br />

qualification. Oxana has<br />

performed at major venues<br />

across Europe, Japan, China,<br />

Syria, Columbia, Panama,<br />

and Brazil and in 2010,<br />

Oxana recorded her debut<br />

CD for Delphian Records.<br />
