WELCOME HOME<br />
“Welcome home” is the slogan of Star-<br />
Licht, our brand for building stores. The<br />
brand is distributed throughout Europe in<br />
more than 3,400 DIY stores; in 2006, more<br />
than 2.5 luminaires were sold. To further<br />
reinforce the position of StarLicht as market<br />
leader in the technical light segment,<br />
the market image was revised in 2007 on<br />
the occasion of the 25th anniversary of<br />
StarLicht. This new image includes not<br />
only modern packaging and a new website,<br />
but also more than 25 new products.<br />
The starting point for the new market image<br />
of StarLicht was to revise the assortment<br />
of luminaires. It is now divided into<br />
three segments: budget price, basic and<br />
competence products.<br />
l With “Happy Price”, StarLicht is introducing<br />
a universal budget price assortment.<br />
These budget-priced luminaires for the<br />
living and kitchen areas are sold in a<br />
plastic bag with a cardboard hanger. The<br />
basic assortment “Essential” covers the<br />
classic products for technical lighting.<br />
l “Essential” combines the former segments<br />
“indoors” and “hobby and workshop”.<br />
Although the essential products<br />
are still offered in a semi-open package,<br />
the banderoles have been completely<br />
revised and now show a modern layout.<br />
l The concept assortment includes<br />
design-oriented luminaires for special<br />
lighting requirements in the kitchen<br />
(„Culina“), (Bathroom) („H 2 O“), home office<br />
(„Home & Office“) and for furniture<br />

The highlights among the product innovations<br />
in these segments include the Como-<br />
W. This innovative product is a wellbeinglight<br />
for the bath and is equipped with a<br />
round lamp and modern LED technology.<br />
Also new is the package for the “Culina”,<br />
“H O” and “Mobilia” products, which are<br />

available immediately in a closed box<br />
with a window on the front (see product<br />
highlights). To round off the concept assortment,<br />
illuminated glass shelves and<br />
picture frames with LEDs are offered under<br />
the brand name “StarLED”.<br />
As market leader in the technical light<br />
sector for private customers, StarLicht<br />
is among the leading manufacturers<br />
of energy-saving light solutions.<br />
Since 90 % of our StarLicht lights are in<br />
energy efficiency class A or B, StarLicht<br />
makes an important contribution to the<br />
global warming problem and is also wellequipped<br />
for the increased demand for<br />
energy-saving lights.<br />

supplier of energy-saving light solutions.<br />
This characteristic has been communicated<br />
more intensely since 2006.<br />

website, which has been online since<br />
early June 2007 at www.starlicht.eu.<br />
