Doloplazy - ride of the Kings
The surroundings of Olomouc are ideal for walks in the countryside, visiting interesting
sites, getting to know the folklore of Haná or for sports activities. There’s something interesting
for everyone, be it a visit to an arboretum or an exhibition of vintage vehicles or
trains at the Garden Railway in Střížov. The joy of exercising can be experienced in the
recently opened sports and recreation grounds in Bystrovany. Lovers of folklore will be
delighted by traditional events that take place in the nearby villages and by the Haná Open-
-Air Museum in Příkazy.
Slatinice – Antique Car Museum (1) / free
Although Slatinice is a town especially renowned for its spa, visitors are also attracted by a collection
of ancient cars and motorcycles, dating predominantly from the 1930s. The collection is in
a remodelled farm and covers an area of 400 square metres. The unique atmosphere is enhanced
by the historical backdrop of Olomouc and many period artefacts.

Bystrovany Arboretum (3)
A remarkable arboretum with 200 species of exotic trees and plants spreads over an area of
four hectares. It includes a small lake with a waterfall, a gardening store, a small petting zoo and
