III-10 <strong>Machine</strong> <strong>Readable</strong> <strong>Travel</strong> <strong>Documents</strong><br />

10.3.2 <strong>ICAO</strong> recognizes that Member States MAY elect to use fingerprint and/or iris recognition as<br />
additional biometric technologies in support of machine assisted identity confirmation, which SHALL be<br />
