This section lists works approved by Lloyd’s <strong>Register</strong> Group for the manufacture <strong>of</strong> steel<br />

wire rope in accordance with the requirements <strong>of</strong> LR's Rules and Regulations for the<br />

Classification <strong>of</strong> Ships Part 2, Chapter 10.<br />

The information listed for each works is a summary <strong>of</strong> the product and maximum rope<br />

diameter approved.<br />

Where required further information should be obtained from the current certificate <strong>of</strong><br />

approval issued to the manufacturer by LR.<br />

Approval only covers the manufacturing location listed, it does not extend to other works<br />

owned by the same company.<br />

The local LR surveying <strong>of</strong>fice is also listed.<br />
