He will appeal this sentence. He will not resign from his newspaper post, despite the risk of going behind bars again, and next time for much longer. “Someone thought that they could train me,” he explains calmly. “Th e pressure grips me even more. I could not give freedom up. Even while in prison, I felt free. Th ey were more scared than I was”.
