Center of natural causes. Born in Bond, MS to Abner W. and Rosa Lee Gibson. She married James Homer
Baulch on April 13, 1940 in Gulfport, MS.
She was a school teacher and homemaker who volunteered endlessly at every United Methodist Church,
of which she was a member.
Preceded in death by her parents; her husband; brother, Burl Gibson; sisters, Eva Mae Gibson Johnson
and Mittie Ruth Gibson.
Survived by children, Barbara Anne (Floyd) Duvall of Hendersonville, TN, Sarah Lee (Jim) McGinley of
Franklin, TN and Howard Stone (Sally) Baulch of Dublin, OH; thirteen grandchildren, fourteen
great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted 9 a.m. Friday, July 17, 2009 at First United Methodist Church, Dr. Lynn
Hill officiating. Graveside services will be conducted 10 a.m. Monday, July 20, 2009 at Woodlawn
Memorial Park. Visitation will be 30 minutes prior to the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Missions Endowment Funds: Franklin First United

"Funeral services for Charles Baulch, 79, prominent farmer of the Ninth District, who died at his home on
Douglass Pike, Friday night, July 20, 1951, of a heart attack, were held Sunday afternoon, July 22, at 2
o'clock at the First Methodist Church, conducted by the Rev. Joe D. Robins. Burial was in Gallatin
cemetery.
Mr. Baulch was a native of Sumner County and was a son of the late William and Elizabeth Brazier Baulch.
Since young manhood Mr. Baulch has engaged in farming. He was a member of the Methodist Church.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Allie Denning Baulch; two sisters, Mrs. C. T. Nimmo, Gallatin, and Mrs.
Eugene O'Dell, South Tunnel; a brother, Joe Baulch, Nashville."
