Robert is listed as living with the John R. Baulch family in the 1870 Sumner County, Tennessee census.
He was listed as age 8 at that time. He is not listed with them in the 1880 census. By 1880 he either had
moved away (quite reasonable because he would have been of age) or had died.

Note: Sarah and Fountain Higgason (mispelled as Hickerson in the 1870 Census) came to live with this
Baulch family some time after their father, John W. Higgason, was killed in the Civil War in 1864. Sibling
Robert was taken in by the John R. Baulch family. Sibling John died in 1869. He probably lived with the
John R. or William Nicholas Baulch family at the time of death.

The Stone Family Ancestry compiled by Maxine Arnold Stone in 1972 indicates that there were nine
