Accommodation
Teams may choose their accommodation freely but are not allowed to reside within the embargoed area shown on
page 19.
It is extremely difficult to find hotel rooms in Lausanne during the high summer season, and we urgently recommend
that WOC participants book an official WOC hotel via Lausanne Tourism as a sufficient number of rooms have been
reserved at a special price. Please, take advantage of that offer.
Most hotel accommodation includes breakfast and dinner (half board). Please indicate your preferences when booking.
Please note that the rates and the availability of the hotels are not guaranteed after May 1 st .
VIPs, IOF officials and guests are also advised to contact Lausanne Tourism!

Catering will be provided by Beaulieu Restauration, http://www.beaulieu-restauration.ch.
Meals, snacks and sandwiches may be purchased at the different arenas.
Lausanne is a city full of restaurants, coffee shops and snack bars, and nobody should go hungry! Remember to check
on opening times for restaurants and grocery stores as Switzerland adheres to some restrictive opening hours.
