26 IOF Officials and WOC Guests
We welcome IOF Officials and WOC Guests to Lausanne and WOC 2012 being held in and around the
Olympic City.
IOF Officials, VIPs and WOC Guests coming from outside Switzerland should register through the
accreditation system (https://www.oras.ch/events/woc2012/register).
Accreditation fee is CHF 100.00.
Accreditation gives the right to:
• Use VIP tent in the competition areas
• Receive start- and result lists and WOC competition maps
• Participate in the IOF VIP/Media race
Accommodation has been reserved in the Alpha Palmiers Hotel where all IOF meetings and the IOF
Congress will take place.
For the WOC soirée on Saturday, July 21 st , VIP and guest have to register (fee CHF 40.00).
The hotel is situated in the centre of town, 2 minutes from the train and metro stations. However,
the 210 rooms in this quiet oasis will make you feel at home.

All bookings should be made through the ORAS system. For more information, please check on the
WOC homepage under IOF Congress.
Deadline for payment of accommodation is 1 st June 2012. Reservations will be cancelled if payment
has not been received by the deadline.
Transport within the city area of Lausanne is included in the accreditation fee. Transport to the
WOC races in Ballens, St.George, La Givrine and to the Swiss 5 Days in Villars-Bretaye is CHF 30.00
per day or the full transport package for 8 days costs CHF 150.00.
Important Deadlines:
31 st May 2012: Deadline for Swiss 5 Days registration
1 st June 2012: Full payment of accreditation fees, accommodation and services ordered
IOF Officials will receive the programme for the IOF Congress, the General Assembly and the other
meetings directly from IOF.
Please note that there will be no possibility for accreditation in the Alpha Palmiers Hotel. You will
need to go to the main Event Centre in Lausanne-Ouchy which you can reach with a short ride on
the metro.
