Volga<br />
The Volga car was a venerated object of desire in the Soviet Union – the ultimate dream, distant and close to<br />
unattainable. Some owners polished their cars daily but didn’t drive them, because you don’t drive your dream,<br />
do you? The Volga-21 model cars are still polished, caressed and adored in many garages across the former Soviet<br />
Union. It’s even more of a luxury object than in the 1960s – an expensive and impractical fetish, driven only by<br />
fanatics, or by those who really love the Volga.<br />
