us of its decision, we will notify you. Whatever the decision of <strong>Customs</strong>,<br />

we encourage the industry to comply with these requirements as soon as<br />

possible.<br />

Imported shrimp which has merely been repacked and is either not labeled<br />

with the original foreign country of origin, or is labeled as "Product of<br />

the U.S." is misbranded and will be afforded no grace period. Such product<br />

is subject to seizure by the U.S. <strong>Customs</strong> Service and the Food and Drug<br />

Administration.<br />
