Butterfly Luncheon Thursday, November 20 11:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Tickets: $35.00 per person Wausau Country Club A special pre-Festival event featuring fine dining, guest speaker, and a chance to win valuable raffle prizes from area businesses. • Suitable for a holiday business gathering. • Valet parking available • Seating for tables of six to ten people. Wednesday, November 26 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Thursday, November 27 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Friday, November 28 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday, November 29 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, November 30 12:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Gala Reception Tuesday, November 25 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Tickets: $40.00 per person This special pre-Festival gala features gourmet hors d’oeurves, complimentary beer and champagne, and a cash bar with a special dessert buffet. Live entertainment including the Sid Kyler Dixieland Jazz Band and a chance to win valuable raffle prizes from area businesses is part of the pre-event activity. The business attire event is for adults and suitable for a holiday evening outing. Senior Stroll Wednesday, November 26 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. The Rose Garden 131 West Thomas Street Tickets Available at the Door $4.00 each for seniors and their caregivers - includes cookie and beverage. A Special Time! This event allows senior citizens to get a sneak peek of the Festival’s wondrous array of holiday items. It is especially designed to give those in wheelchairs, with walkers, etc., an opportunity to attend before the Festival is too busy and crowded.

Share your love. • Your brief embrace, holding of the hand, a few words of affection and feeling may be all that is needed during your first visit or funeral visit. • Avoid ‘clichés’ such as “ He is out of pain” “ you’re lucky it was a brief illness”- these are not helpful. A simple “I am sorry for your loss,” “I love you”, or “not sure what to say- just know we are thinking of you” are appropriate. • Accept silence. If the mourner doesn’t feel like talking, do not force conversation. Let the mourner lead. Silence is better that aimless chatter. Allow the ‘working through’ of grief. Let people process grief in their own time.
