5.7.4 Uncock the firing pin<br />
WARNING!<br />
Careless actions may cause uncontrolled<br />
discharge of shot<br />
May lead to death or severe injuries<br />
• Only uncock the firing pin with the rifle<br />
unloaded <strong>and</strong> the barrel chamber empty.<br />
Procedure:<br />
1. Unload the rifle <strong>and</strong> check that there is no<br />
round in the barrel chamber (see section 5.6).<br />
2. Pull the trigger tongue <strong>and</strong> slowly close the<br />
bolt with the trigger tongue held pulled.<br />
Note:<br />
• The cocking indication must not be visible<br />
(see Fig. 8).<br />
5.8 Magazine<br />
5.8.1 Removing the magazine<br />
Procedure:<br />
1. Hold magazine 600 by h<strong>and</strong>.<br />
2. If fitted: Push magazine safety towards the<br />
magazine (see section 3.8.2).<br />
CAUTION!<br />
Magazine may fall out<br />
Magazine may be damaged<br />
• When removing the magazine always keep<br />
your h<strong>and</strong> exactly underneath the magazine.<br />
3. Press the stud 207 with the index finger of the<br />
same h<strong>and</strong>.<br />
4. Remove magazine.<br />
5. Empty magazine.<br />

5.8.2 Inserting the magazine<br />
Procedure:<br />
1. Insert the magazine into the magazine shaft<br />
<strong>and</strong> push upwards until the magazine engages<br />
audibly. Do not jam the magazine.<br />
2. If fitted: Push magazine safety towards the<br />
barrel (see section 3.8.2).<br />
5.8.3 Loading the magazine<br />
Procedure:<br />
1. Push the rear feeder down.<br />
2. Push the round from the front under the<br />
magazine lip.<br />
