Generation is an exhibition showcasing the craftmanship and innovative work of some
of Ireland's most promising emerging designer-makers. The pieces on display have been
selected from the submissions for two prestigious 2009 awards that recognise and
benchmark excellence: Future Makers - a Crafts Council of Ireland/Irish Arts Review Emerging
Maker Award and the Institute of Designers in Ireland awards.

On the Edge is a stunning selection of contemporary glass from Ireland and Southwest
England that beautifully demonstrates the complexities and flexibilities of glass. This
exhibition features the work of internationally acclaimed artists such as Colin Reid and
Will Shakespeare and is curated by Mary Mackey and Chinks Gryllis.
On the Edge is a touring exhibition which has been organised by Cheltenham Art Gallery & Museum in
partnership with the Crañs Council of Ireland.
