Generation is an exhibition showcasing the craftmanship and innovative work of some<br />
of Ireland's most promising emerging designer-makers. The pieces on display have been<br />
selected from the submissions for two prestigious 20<strong>09</strong> awards that recognise and<br />
benchmark excellence: Future Makers - a Crafts Council of Ireland/<strong>Irish</strong> <strong>Arts</strong> <strong>Review</strong> Emerging<br />
Maker Award and the Institute of Designers in Ireland awards.<br />

On the Edge is a stunning selection of contemporary glass from Ireland and Southwest<br />
England that beautifully demonstrates the complexities and flexibilities of glass. This<br />
exhibition features the work of internationally acclaimed artists such as Colin Reid and<br />
Will Shakespeare and is curated by Mary Mackey and Chinks Gryllis.<br />
On the Edge is a touring exhibition which has been organised by Cheltenham Art Gallery & Museum in<br />
partnership with the Crañs Council of Ireland.<br />
