and President of the International Association of<br />

Art Critics (Ireland).<br />

Riann Coulter (Complementary spirits: Nano<br />

Reid and Gerard Dillon, page 58) is an art historian<br />

and curator specialising in modern and<br />

contemporary art. She has worked in IMMA,<br />

the National Gallery of Ireland and Trinity<br />

College Dublin. She is currently Curator of<br />

the FE McWilliam Gallery & Studio, Banbridge,<br />

Co Down.<br />

Judith Hill (Killua in transformation, page 98) is<br />

an architectural historian and the author of<br />

Catherine Leen (Mining the landscape, page<br />

60) is an art critic and a lecturer in the<br />

Department of Spanish, National University of<br />

Ireland, Maynooth.<br />

Stephanie McBride (The everyday gaze<br />

page 62) has written widely about film, media<br />

and visual culture in Circa, the <strong>Irish</strong> Times and Film<br />

Ireland. Recent books include Ireland into Film:<br />

Brian McAvera (Tracking Donald Teskey, page<br />

64, Winter Catalogue <strong>Review</strong>s, page 140) is a playwright,<br />

art critic and curator. He has been a<br />

contributing editor to the American magazine<br />

Sculpture for the past twenty years.<br />

Nancy IreSOn (Sculpture in the face of convention,<br />

page 72) is an art historian and curator based in<br />

London. At present, as a Leverhulme Trust<br />

Research Fellow, she is working on a Toulouse-<br />

Lautrec exhibition for the Courtauld Gallery.<br />

Tom Dunne (Art in an age of anxiety, page 76)<br />

teaches art history at UCC. His James Barry,<br />

National Craft Gallery, Kilkenny. She has<br />

curated exhibitions for a number of institutions<br />

in Ireland and the UK and is a contributor<br />

to numerous publications, including<br />

England/ AHRC (forthcoming).<br />

an artist and a regular contributor to the <strong>Irish</strong><br />

Robert O'Byrne (Under the Hammer, page<br />

46) is a journalist and author. His most recent<br />
