The 17 th edition of <strong>MEDICAL</strong> <strong>FAIR</strong> <strong>INDIA</strong> <strong>2011</strong>, India’s largest and most<br />

important exhibition for the Medical Industry on Diagnostic, Medical<br />

Equipment and Technology is characterised by its high level of national<br />

and international exposure.<br />

The fair was organised by Messe Düsseldorf GmbH (organiser of world’s<br />

no. 1 medical event MEDICA) and its Indian subsidiary Messe Düsseldorf<br />

India Pvt. Ltd.<br />

“The most successful platform for Medical Technology and<br />

Diagnostics in India which concluded recently in New Delhi”<br />

Spread over 7,000 sqm, the show attracted 261 exhibitors<br />

from 14 countries with national pavilions from Belgium,<br />

China, France, Germany, Hongkong, Korea, Malaysia,<br />

Taiwan, USA. Apart from size-able Indian participation<br />

there was international presence from Canada, Italy, Japan<br />

and United Kingdom.<br />

It was an unprecedented rate from the previous edition<br />

and seen quite an extensive participation from overseas<br />

market.<br />

5,910 visitors included traders, businessmen and doctors<br />

from all specialised disciplines, decision-makers from<br />

clinics and hospital administrations, members of the<br />

medical technology trade as well as qualifi ed medical<br />

personnel availed of the opportunity to gain personal<br />

overview of the latest developments in their professional<br />

fi eld of activity at the pre-eminent event of the entire<br />

medical world.<br />
