At a time when many products are
regarded as interchangeable, differentiation
is called for.
You need innovation for a successful
market presence. Packaging innovations
from Haendler & Natermann support
your product in its market success.
Of particular note here are our successful
action labels, which are currently
very popular.
Crown cork campaigns arouse in -
creased interest in the product as
well as playful instincts. As soon as he
opens the crown cap the consumer will
see whether he has won from the easily
recognisable imprint on the reverse.
Optimal use of the back
of the label
The contest is supported by the information
on the reverse of the gravure-printed
paper labels by Haendler & Natermann.
The choice is yours, whether you opt for
metallised paper labels or metallic gloss
printing on white paper!
You can also take advantage of a further
interesting option with a peel-off lacquer
applied to the back of the label for
contests or collection campaigns. Thermochrome
colours are yet another
popular instrument for drawing attention
to the optimal drinking temperature.
Aluminium bottle-neck labels
Rotkäppchen Sekt
An elegant brand presence with bottle neck
foils from Haendler & Natermann
Having been produced since 1894 in the cellars founded in 1856 in Freyburg
(Unstrut), Rotkäppchen Sekt has a long tradition. Rotkäppchen Sekt is the
market leader in the German sparkling wine market. It gets its name from the
characteristic red capsule.
As part of the current relaunch of the
features and packaging, Haendler &
Natermann’s task was to transfer the
slightly modified colour of the eyecatching
cap from the standard 0.75
litre bottle to the bottle neck foil of the
0.2 litre bottle. In view of the different
foils employed and the rougher surface
this presented a major challenge.
The elegant and distinctive appearance
of the Rotkäppchen brand is
now also available on the 0.2 litre
size bottle. The “Rotkäppchen lettering”
appears on the foil in brilliant
gold on the characteristic
Rotkäppchen red background.
Special embossing
Instead of the familiar “worm
embossing” the Rotkäppchen
brand has chosen to feature a
special surface embossing.
Aluminium bottle neck labels
by Haendler & Natermann give
the consumer an impression of
exclusivity. By means of different
embossing structures it is
possible to achieve different
light refraction effects
which give the brand a unique
appearance.
As a result of the new manufacturing
technologies available in
the glass container industry,
there are no limits to the form
of the aluminium labels.
Labels applied over the
MCA cap – providing
tamper evidence at the
same time – are possible,
as is labelling below
the drink cap. Typical
paper applications such
as neck banderoles or
neck labels which do not
run around the bottle neck
are available as bottle
neck foils with the characteristics
of this modern
material.
Constantia Labels/Haendler & Natermann has
carried out extensive printing tests to examine
and demonstrate the legibility of the codes
depending on the size of the code. As usual
you will receive competent advice with regard
to the QR Codes ® .
Small Code, Big Advantage
QR Code ® on drink labels
Labels for drinks bottles with QR Codes ® are currently conquering the German retail market.
The printing is usually in black and white with strong contrasts, but coloured designs with logos
are also possible. The capacity of the codes lies at a maximum of 7089 characters (numerical)
or 4296 characters (alphanumerical). The data in the code are protected by an error-correction
feature so that the code can still be read even if there is a data loss of up to 30 %. The technology,
which was developed back in 1994, can be used without payment of licence fees.
Small Team Convinces in Italy
The branch office of Constantia Imballaggi S.r.l.
embodies perfectly the international motto of
the Constantia Flexibles concern: “Big enough
to dare, small enough to care.” Since 1990
Constantia Imballaggi S.r.l. has been responsible
for the sales of Constantia Flexibles in
Italy.
The adventure began with the small home
office of Giovanni Dircetti. However, the team
has expanded rapidly – today a team of five
takes care of the needs of Italian customers
from their office in Schio (near Venice).
new weekly recipe ideas using your products.
Additional uses include electronic surveys,
and links to audio and video podcasts and
downloads. To read the codes you need the
QR application, available free of charge, which
is already installed in the appliances which are
currently available on the market.
QR Codes ® are also used in the brochures of
the retail sector. There they direct customers
to additional product information and product
videos. A renowned glass manufacturer
already offers dishwasher-safe glasses with
QR Code ® technology.
The top customers on the labels market are
Birra Peroni, a member of the SAB Miller
group, and Heineken.
In addition to labels, Constantia Imballaggi S.r.l.
also offers soft PVC foils and aluminium
foils for foods and dairy products. Constantia
Imballaggi S.r.l. has set itself ambitious growth
targets for 2012. In addition to market penetration
with the existing products, the main goal
is the introduction of high-quality paper labels
manufactured by Constantia Novis, the Romanian
member of the Constantia Flexibles goup
of companies.
You can have your own personal QR Code ®
for private use generated on the website
http://qrcode.kaywa.com. Please entrust the
printing of your labels to the gravure printing
experts at Constantia. We shall be delighted
to assist you with the implementation.
Customer Advantages through
Innovative Offset Printing Press
Premium quality for labels, printed in Romania
The “Labels” section of the Constantia Flexibles group of companies has long
established itself as a “specialist for container labels”, especially in the drinks
industry. Our customers value the high quality of the international production
locations and the effective global sales network.
The Romanian concern NOVIS S.r.l., which
was founded in 1992, also belongs to the
“Labels” section of Constantia. In recent years
it has developed into an important printing
location in Europe and strengthens our
presence in the Eastern European market.
Top-quality labels for returnable bottles and
disposable bottles as well as wrap-around
labels and banderoles are produced here.
NOVIS S.r.l. meets customer
requests in an ideal manner
By investing in the innovative 8-colour Alprinta
74 V offset printing press made by Müller
Martini, Germany, the company can meet many
of the market requirements:
● Adhesive, paper or foil: the printing machine
is suitable for all types of material such as
paper, polypropylene film, IML technology,
self-adhesive labels and banderoles. It produces
top-quality printing on all materials.
● More film than paper: While orders for paper
labels have been increasing only slowly for
years now, the market for film labels has
been growing continuously for some years.
● Rapid service for customers: Format changes
are a matter of routine in the Eastern
European market. A change of rollers can
be effected in less than 30 minutes and the
printing of various lengths of label is no problem.
● Smaller market segments can also be served
successfully: the rapid change of format, less
the case of smaller print runs. Various
