Companies from Slovenia, a country of just<br />
two million people, continue to lead the <strong>Top</strong><br />
<strong>100</strong> per capita ranking as they did in the<br />
previous editions, albeit with 40 fi rms on the<br />
2011 list, down from 46 in 2010.<br />
Fuel retailer Petrol ranks fi rst for the fourth year running<br />
with revenue per capita of 1,430 euro in 2011, up from<br />
1,230 euro a year earlier. The company ranks seventh in<br />
the <strong>TOP</strong> <strong>100</strong> ranking in terms of total revenue in 2011.<br />
Slovenia’s largest food retailer Mercator followed with<br />
814.6 euro in revenue per capita, down from 827.7 euro<br />
in 2010.<br />
Croatia, a country of over four million people, is the second<br />
in terms of the number of companies on the list of<br />
the <strong>TOP</strong> <strong>100</strong> per capita in 2011. Eighteen Croatian companies<br />
are on the list with oil company INA ranking third<br />
with 805.9 euro in revenue per capita, up from 714.1 euro<br />
in 2010.<br />
Retailer Konzum is the second best performer among<br />
Croatian companies with 395.7 euro in revenue per capita<br />
in 2011, up from 388.6 euro revenue in 2010. The company<br />
lost three positions, sliding from the eighth spot in the<br />
2010 ranking.<br />
Nine Bulgarian companies entered the <strong>TOP</strong> <strong>100</strong> per capita<br />
list with Lukoil Neftochim Burgas being the best performer<br />
with 485.8 euro in revenue per capita in 2011. The<br />
