The race is on and that wagon you see rounding corner number
four and heading down the grandstand stretch is actually a
marketing opportunity disguised as a pony chuckwagon.
This year, the Red Deer Chuckwagon Championship will be
held August 13 - 16, 2009 at Westerner Park. More than 20,000
people are expected to fill the grandstand over the four-day
event. Additionally, the event attracts sponsors and people
from the chuckwagon community from all across Western
Canada.
Sponsorship opportunities abound – there are heats, events,
equipment and a variety of locations around the venue that
offer prospects to enhance a business brand, generate quality
sale leads; gain a valuable presence with a niche target
audience and just generally be seen as a supporter of this
exciting heritage sport.
For 2009, the Red Deer Chuckwagon Committee is looking
for sponsorships ranging from $200 - $15,000 or more. The
various sponsorships needed include Copper, Bronze, Silver,
Gold, Platinum, Clean Drive Award, Wheels on Fire Award, nine
Heat Sponsorships, Added Prize Money, Tarp Sponsorship,
Silent Auction Prizes and Entertainment Sponsorships.
