this exhibition are all the work of one<br />

extraordinary 69-year-old Buddhist<br />

monk named Shashi Dhoj Tulachan, a<br />

second generation thangka artist living<br />

in Tuksche, a remote village located in<br />

Mustang, Nepal’s northernmost district<br />

adjacent to Tibet.<br />
