Camp Summer Journey
In Camp Summer Journey you are the talent, a superstar! You’re never
too old for summer camp and every week participants will play the
best sports and games, create the coolest arts and crafts, and venture
out on amazing, unforgettable fi eld trips. There will also be plenty
of time to socialize with your friends and make new ones. Our great
production staff will be on hand to make this summer the best. Best
of all, participants will star in Cedar Hills Studios’ newest production,
“Summer 2011.” Typically, unless otherwise noted, Thursdays we go on
a fi eld trip and Mondays we swim. All fi eld trips are subject to change.
Our programmed activities begin around 9 am and go until 5 pm but our
hours are 7:30 am to 6 pm. Bring a sack lunch and water bottle each
day. DON’T FORGET A SUIT AND TOWEL ON MONDAY! Each week
includes a bonus trip TBD.
Ages: 11-14 yrs
Cost: $25 deposit per week plus $165 per week ($190 total), unless
otherwise listed.
Week 1: Summer Blockbuster!
We debut the camp season with our Summer Blockbuster as we travel to
Wild Waves.

Enjoy the classics on the Silver Screen as we travel to Silver Falls State
Park.

Travel to a world of fairytales as we take a fi eld trip to the Ski Bowl.

Solve our Detective Mystery and join us as we canoe at Devil’s Lake.

Explore the fi nal frontier of Space in our Sci-Fi week. We’ll be going to
ULTRAZONE Laser Tag.

Our movie theme this week is Thrillers and Chillers. We will enjoy the
thrills and chills of the great outdoors, at one of our great state parks.

Everybody loves a good deep drama and you’ll love our fi eld trip to Eagle
Fern Creek.

Our Grand Finale takes us to Alderbrook Park. There is no camp on
Friday Sept. 2nd.

Sports Performance Camp
Everyday will involve working on muscle strength and endurance, agility
and cardiovascular performance through a variety of activities and drills.
We will also spend the afternoons working on skills in sports such as
basketball, soccer, lacross, volleyball, softball, fl ag football and tennis.
Campers will also enjoy swimming during the week. Camp held off-site
at Cedar Hills Park (2300 SW Cedar Hills Blvd.)
