Manchester Apollo Becomes O2 Apollo Manchester<br />

Live Nation have announced that one of the UK’s premiere con-<br />
cert venues, the Manchester Apollo will officially be changing its<br />
name to O2 Apollo Manchester with immediate effect.<br />

<strong>The</strong> O2 Apollo Manchester will add to the existing O2 Academy<br />
portfolio, which has been in operation for just over 2 years. <strong>The</strong><br />
O2 Apollo Manchester is owned and operated by Live Nation<br />
and becomes the 15th venue in the Live Nation / Academy Music<br />
Group partnership. <strong>The</strong> Grade II listed venue will undergo a full<br />
interior re-decoration in keeping with its Art Deco style. O2 customers<br />
will get the same benefits, which include access to tickets<br />
48 hours before general release on O2 Priority.<br />
O2 Apollo Manchester has been a mainstay of the British touring<br />
circuit for decades, attracting Best Venue nominations and presenting<br />
shows from every major rock, pop and comedy act on the<br />
touring circuit. With both fully seated and part-standing formats,<br />
the venue increases its footfall and presentations year on year.<br />
