- How Many Laps Practice? - One week out from Anaheim 1 and Chad Reed tweeted this: Chad
Reed @CRtwotwo 4 weeks in FL I timed it perfect. Last day of riding in FL for a while and the pracky hacky is
timed out
According to the hour meter on his CRF450R practice bike Chad has clocked up 19.4 hours of testing in the last
four weeks – the average supercross practice track is around 50 second long so you work out how many laps
Chad has put in to get ready for this season.
- Burner Out - Michael Byrne still out – I got this Tweet from Michael today – ‘@smartymx my keg is still not
ready yet mate’. Remember, the ‘Burner’ is a Queenslander so when he says his ‘keg’ is not ready he may
actually mean ‘keg’ – BUT I am assuming it is his leg that isn’t ready yet.
- Aussie Dave Racing? – Melbourne born Dave Anthony has been road racing in America since 2006 and for
2013 has started a supercross team through his ADR Motorsport (Aussie Dave Racing) tuning centre in
Hollywood. Ricky Dietrich and Gareth Swanepoel will ride the full season for the team on Kawasaki KX250Fs
while Aussie Kade Mosig will ride the first six rounds.
- Aussies at A1 - Below is the rider list that has been posted around several web sites in the U.S – we have three
Aussies in the 250SX class – Jackson Richardson, Josh Cachia and Kade Mosig while it will be Chad Reed and
Daniel McCoy in the 450SX class.
