• <strong>Study</strong> <strong>of</strong> body fluids<br />

Unit II<br />

Pr<strong>in</strong>ciples <strong>of</strong> taxonomy and system <strong>of</strong> classification <strong>of</strong> angio sperms (Bentham and Hooker) and<br />

Gymnosperms (chamberla<strong>in</strong>)<br />

Unit III<br />

Orig<strong>in</strong> <strong>of</strong> life and Geological time scale. Mechanical and conduct<strong>in</strong>g tissue systems <strong>in</strong> plants<br />

Unit IV<br />

Basics <strong>of</strong> microbiology and concept <strong>of</strong> pure culture technique microscopy pr<strong>in</strong>ciple and types <strong>of</strong><br />

microscopy, Broad classification <strong>of</strong> microorganisms.<br />

Unit V<br />

• Immunity and immune system, Structure and Interaction <strong>of</strong> antigens and antibodies.<br />

• Techniques: ELISA, western blot, and southern blot.<br />

Unit VI<br />

• Genetic materials – structural organization and function.<br />

• Mendelian pr<strong>in</strong>ciples, sex l<strong>in</strong>kage and sex determ<strong>in</strong>ation.<br />
