$130,000 in Sponsorships to be Awarded<br />
The Skip Barber Karting Scholarship Shoot-out is the largest<br />
and single most important event for karters transitioning into<br />
race cars. Approximately $130,000 in total sponsorship will<br />
be awarded – the largest fund in the 10-year history of the<br />
Shoot-out – with the largest prize being a full-season ride in<br />
the 2008 BF<strong>Go</strong>odrich/Skip Barber National Presented by<br />
Mazda, an award worth more than $40,000.<br />
The Skip Barber Karting Scholarship Shoot-out is a critical<br />
component of the fully integrated Mazda-powered motor-<br />
sports ladder system now in place in the U.S. Each year’s<br />
2007-2008<br />
Karting Scholarship Shoot-out<br />
Skip Barber National champion wins a full-paid season in the<br />
following years Star Mazda Championship. And each year’s<br />
Star Mazda champion earns a full-paid season in the follow-<br />
ing year’s Champ Car Atlantic powered by Mazda.<br />
