DISTRIBUTION: only Minadanao Is. <strong>of</strong> the Philippines Archipelago.<br />

Comments: examination <strong>of</strong> large material <strong>of</strong> the taxon (see also BOROWIEC<br />

1996: 19) induced me to separate it as a distinct species. At first glance its elytral<br />

structure is more similar to that <strong>of</strong> C. physodes BOH. group than C. circumdata<br />

HERBST.
