DISTRIBUTION: N Vietnam.<br />

Comments: in my second contribution to the knowledge <strong>of</strong> Oriental <strong>Cassidinae</strong><br />

(BOROWIEC 1990) I synonymized C. tuberculata MED. et ER. <strong>with</strong> Cassida postarcuata<br />

(CHEN et ZIA). Both species have very similar dorsal sculpture <strong>and</strong><br />

colouration. They represent completely distinct group <strong>with</strong>in Oriental Cassida<br />

<strong>with</strong> no other relatives. However, C. tuberculata differs in larger size, longer<br />

antennae <strong>with</strong> black distal segments, <strong>and</strong> mostly yellow thorax (in C. postarcuata<br />

only last antennal segment is partly black <strong>and</strong> thorax is completely black).<br />
