UNDERFLOOR HEATING
The laying
You may indeed lay Prestige on any
professionally prepared subsoil:
on cement-, anhydrite-, mastic
asphalt- and dry screeds as well
as on flake- and plywood boards.
But what means professional? – This
means that the subsoil is tested -–
if necessary prepared - for laying
according to DIN 18365 for flooring
works and according to DIN 18356
for parquet works.
You have to especially pay attention
to the evenness conforming to
standards in order to prevent from
hollow spaces. Short planks may
serve to compensate the height.
The low installation height of
maximum 12 millimeters makes
of Prestige the ideal parquet for
renovation. Low heights of doors
or rooms are not displacing.
The little thickness even allowes
a combination with textile and
ceramic flooring of the same height.
CEMENT COATING
Due to a convenient resistance of
heat passage the pre-conditions
for laying on hot water underfloor
heating are extremely good. Longterm
researches of the “Fraunhofer
Institute” for wood research have
certified this to BOEN - this means
also to Prestige and all its variants.
It is recommended to use pre-coats,
equalization masses and adhesives
of one manufacturer; this offers best
possible certainty.
A parquet flooring is only laid
perfectly when all the transisions
to a adjacent room s and walls are
designed matching to the parquet
flooring. Therefore we offer you a
large range of accessoires: matching
skirtings for any of our wood types,
mouldings, stair nosing.

The packing
We talk about an “overall-carefreeparquet”
as each pack is thoroughly
sorted according to left-hand and
right-hand strips. Simply turn the
box upside down and the laying
goes almost without saying.
A rapid and simple laying is not
disturbed. This is another reason
why Prestige is so popular among
professionals.
