On the Way to the Bedroom
It seems that the whole seam on the big net came apart, perhaps
unraveling when I caught it on something. I scooped the fish into
the other side of the net and lifted her, a bit dusty, back into her
watery home
I laughed after it was all over. I was supposed to put the grandchildren’s
toys under that table so that we could move the houseplants
by the window and make room for the Christmas tree.
Once again, procrastination pays. I would have had to move
them out for the tree and back again. The frontosa lived; my luck
with them is starting to change. I’m glad because my wife bought
me some large female frontosa for Christmas that is due to arrive
soon.

I know some of you may have seen or passed by the new aquarium
that opened up recently on the south side of Sunrise Highway,
on the south service road just west of the exit for Brentwood
Road in Bay Shore. This aquarium was once known as
Lots of Fish, located on the south side of Montauk Highway, at
the western end of Route 231, in Babylon. Owned and operated
by Joe Rosati and Dominick Caserma, the store is open for business
at their new location, despite not being finished with all the
details of readying an aquarium business, especially if you have
any perfectionist tendencies as Joe has.
Sorry if this has caused anyone any problems finding Caribbean
